Hi there!
If you’re reading this, it probably means you’ve stumbled onto my little corner of the internet — Paddock Talks. And since we’ve officially started talking about Formula 1, I think it’s only fair I introduce myself properly.
I’m a 20-something Belgian girl who completely fell in love with Formula 1 — and not in the casual “I watch the race sometimes” way. I mean obsessed. Emotionally invested. Living-for-it kind of love.
Like many fans, I started watching because someone around me was into it. But it didn’t take long before I was the one refreshing qualifying times, yelling at team radio decisions, and defending drivers like they were family.
🧡 So… who’s my favourite?
Lando Norris.
No hesitation.
He’s funny, smart, insanely talented, and he’s proven over and over that he has what it takes to be a future World Champion. I love how he balances being a beast on track with being this hilarious, genuine guy off-track. There’s just something so real about him — and watching his growth over the years has been amazing.
🧡 My team?
It’s McLaren, of course.
The passion, the history, the orange, the fight, the energy. I love how they’ve rebuilt themselves over the past few years, and even when things go wrong (which… happens 😅), they never stop pushing.
It feels like being part of a comeback story — and I’m here for it, every step of the way.
🎯 My big dream?
To go to a race.
Not just to watch it on a screen, but to feel it — the sound of the engines, the smell of the tyres, the energy of the crowd, the flags waving, the national anthem, the chaos of Turn 1.
I want to be there. I need to be there.
And I’ve decided: next year, I’m going to try and make it happen.
I don’t know how yet. I don’t know where exactly. But I’ve waited long enough.
It’s time to stop dreaming and start doing.
This blog is part of that journey.
I’ll be sharing my thoughts, my passion, my frustrations, my laughter — everything this sport brings out in me. Because Formula 1 isn’t just something I watch. It’s something I live for.
